The Combat-Proven Rotary Wing Loitering Munition System KARGU, developed by STM, took part in the Dacia-2025 Exercise in Romania, where the Turkish Armed Forces were also present.
As one of the leading companies in the Turkish defense industry, STM continues to receive international recognition for its cutting-edge defense solutions. The Turkish Armed Forces participated in the exercise, planned and executed by Romania between February 22–28, with a reconnaissance unit. During the exercise, KARGU was actively deployed, showcasing its capabilities.
With participation from various NATO member countries, KARGU already in service with over 10 nations across three continents garnered significant interest from allied military personnel.
Initially introduced into the Turkish Armed Forces' inventory in 2018 and marking its first export in 2021, KARGU has since expanded its global presence. Alongside its anti-personnel warhead, KARGU has recently gained attention for its armor-piercing munition, further solidifying its combat effectiveness.
